Seat upgrades Ibiza and Leon equipment level
Seat is launching a brand new trim level for its new Ibiza and Leon Copa models, adding up to £1,000 in equipment for no increase in price.
The Copa trim models includes adds extra equipment and more upmarket materials to the best-selling versions of the two most popular Seat models, the Ibiza supermini and Leon family hatchback.
One appealing factor is that these upgrades have no bearing on the cars’ prices, meaning customers effectively gain £1,000 worth of new features to SE specification models without paying extra.
The new trim is available for all three Seat Ibiza body styles, the three door SC, and five door and ST estate models, under one designation, the SE Copa. Customers will have a choice between a 1.4 16V petrol engine and a 1.2 TDI CR turbodiesel.
The SE Copa specification brings new additions such as climate control, dark tinted rear windows and auto-dimming rear view mirror plus more.
The car comes with other features already seen in standard Ibiza models like cruise control and six-speed speaker MP3 compatible CD/Radio.
For the Seat Leon, the new trim is available in two versions of the five door hatchback, called the S Copa and SE Copa. These versions are available with either a 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine or a more frugal 1.6 litre TDI turbodiesel.
The S Copa is based on the entry-level Leon S, and adds dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control plus a couple more new features. The SE Copa version has everything the S version possesses and adds even more perks such as a Media System, rear parking sensors and auto-dimming rear view mirror.
The hi-tech Seat Media System has touch screen satellite navigation technology, along with 3D mapping and dynamic route guidance plus MP3 playback.
Prices for the Ibiza SE start at £11,995 RRP for the SC Version. Meanwhile the Leon S Copa is available from £16,180 RRP and the SE Copa can be bought from £16,940.
