Range Rover Evoque Hollywood film launched
Land Rover has launched an interactive film to advertise its newest model, the Range Rover Evoque.
Shot in Los Angeles, ‘Being Henry’ is an interactive film designed to showcase the customisation options available with the Evoque.
Based on the original concept of a ‘choose your own adventure’ style of storytelling, the film puts the customer through a journey in the role of that who ultimately decides the faith of the story’s main character, a man called Henry.
The main goal of this film of choices is to showcase the new levels of personalisation for the Land Rover’s latest model, the Ranger Rover Evoque.
In the film, nine different storylines and 32 unique endings, combine to create the customer’s ‘perfect’ Ranger Rover Evoque created from the ‘subconscious’.
The interactive film is directed by the award-winning Nick Gordon, he commented: ‘As a director I want to explore interactive pieces that are also filmic. Range Rover’s commitment to one of the most adventurous collaborations I have ever been part of has been incredible.’
The new Evoque SUV is built as both a three and five-door coupe, and has a range of petrol and diesel engines on offer.
Customers can choose from three distinct design themes, labelled Pure, Prestige and Dynamic.
Whatever buyers choose there are many features as standard and in-depth personal customisation.
The custom options cover the Evoque’s exterior colours, roof treatments, interior colours, alloy wheels and option on a full sized fixed panoramic glass roof.
The Range Rover Evoque will appear in UK dealerships in September, with prices starting from £27,955 for the eD4 Pure five-door model with six speed manual transmission and 2WD. The same model with four-wheel drive will cost £28,705, while the range-topping Si4 Dynamic coupe, with six-speed automatic transmission and LUX pack will cost £44,320.
