Peugeot announces special edition 107 ENVY
As Peugeot’s 107 supermini reaches the 500,000 milestone, the company is preparing to release the limited edition ENVY model.
Available in three- and five-door guise, the ENVY builds on the equipment levels of standard 107 models, with cosmetic upgrades including 14-inch alloy wheels, dark tinted rear windows, black and grey seat trim and body-coloured side mirrors.
Comforts like air conditioning, electric front windows and CD player with MP3 input come on all models, as do safety technologies such as electronic brakeforce distribution and corner stability control.
Production of Peugeot’s 107 has increased every year since its release in mid 2005, which is no mean feat given the effect the economic downturn had on the European car market. The UK remains a principal market for supermini, accounting for 15 per cent of its sales in Europe.
All Peugeot 107 models ordered this year will come with a free Nokia 5230 Smartphone with satellite navigation and an in-car mounting kit.
The Peugeot 107 ENVY goes on sale this month and comes in at £9,595, with the range starting at £8,495.
