Peugeot 107 stars in online video campaign
Four online videos have been commissioned to promote the Peugeot 107 to a younger audience.
The personalised videos are being hosted on YouTube where users can share their own video creations.
Users are also invited to place their videos on other social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter or email. They can also choose to personalise their video for one of their friends before sending it to them.
Nael Hamameh, the Co-Director of the You to You digital communication agency, developed the 107 experience and explained how it will make the car appeal to a more youthful audience.
‘We dealt with topics specifically aimed at young people: sports, games, seduction, dance, music, sharing and friendship, [all of which are] integrated and adapted to the social networks: when the user starts a video, they can see their Facebook friends in a YouTube channel and share the link on Twitter’.
Peugeot hopes the interactive media campaign will push a younger audience towards the 107 city car.
The Peugeot 107 comes equipped as standard with a 1.0 litre petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox which delivers 68bhp. The small car can accelerate from 0-62mph in 14.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 100mph.
The 107 meets Euro 5 emission standards, with a CO2 output figure of just 103g/km. The city car also has a combined fuel economy of 62.7mpg.
On-the-road pricing for the Peugeot 107 presently starts from £6,995 including VAT.
Alternatively, the car can be acquired for just £189 per month on the Peugeot Just Add Fuel programme.
