Mazda’s online car configurator goes live
Mazda has introduced a new car configurator that allows customers to specify, save and compare cars online.
The cars assume the form of realistic animations and can be viewed as a 180 degrees rotation or in two outdoor locations. ‘Hot spots’ on the cars give customers more information on significant aspects of each model, the aerodynamic lines on the CX-7 for example.
Customers can create their own versions of any model from Mazda’s complete passenger car line-up – which comprises the 2, 3, 6, 5, CX-7 and MX-5 ranges - and can compare up to three cars at any one time.
The cars can then be saved and sent to a friend - or even saved as a wallpaper for your desktop – and the summary page with detailed specification can be printed off.
“It’s a great opportunity for potential buyers to see the kind of great deal they could be getting when buying a new Mazda," said Mark Cameron, Sales Director for Mazda UK.
The pictured Mazda MX-5 is available now from £16,795, though the Mazda range starts at £9,950 for the 2 supermini.
