Latest Seat ECOmotive offerings
This week sees Seat extend its ECOmotive range with the newly badged Leon, Altea and Altea XL. With the company taking order of their biggest ever UK fleet of 500 Leon ECOmotives, these latest offerings are expected to make an impact.
All three cars are to be powered by the new 1.6-litre TDi engine and in conjunction with Brake Energy Recovery and the all-new Start/Stop technology, Seat is pushing hard to make itself the leader in environmentally responsible motoring.
As a result, the SEAT Leon ECOmotive boasts CO2 emissions of just 99g/km and a combined fuel economy figure of 74.3mpg – giving the car a range of up to 900 miles on a full tank. And with the official urban figure at 60.1mpg, it isn’t just cross-country travellers who will be satisfied.
The Altea and Altea XL can’t quite match the Leon’s impressive economy and emission figures, though 119g/km and a combined fuel economy of 62.8mpg is still very competitive.
Each of the new ECOmotives will be available in both S and SE specifications – aimed at combining economy with luxury.
Prices for these ECOmotive-badged models start from just £16,840, with the Seat Leon ECOmotive S.
