Jaguar XJ named Executive Saloon of the Year
Bloomberg News has hailed the Jaguar XJ as ‘gorgeous inside out’, declaring the car its Executive Saloon of 2010.
Charged with revitalising the Great British brand, the XJ saloon racked up numerous awards since its release earlier this year, including Top Gear’s Luxury Car of the Year accolade.
“The 2011 Jaguar XJ is the runaway design of the year," said Bloomberg News automotive columnist Jason H. Harper. “Although it is recognisably a Jaguar it takes the brand in a more forward-thinking and energized direction."
The Jaguar XJ is available now from £55,000 and features leather upholstery, top-of-the-range sound system, dual climate control and a full-colour screen satellite navigation system as standard.
“This is a great win for Jaguar and especially the engineers and designers in the UK who created the stunning sedan (saloon)," surmised Gary Temple, President of Jaguar Land Rover North America.
