Jaguar to unveil 2012 range
Jaguar will present its latest refreshed model line-up for 2012 at this year’s Motorexpo held at Canary Wharf between June 6 and 12.
Motorexpo is a free interactive motoring event located in Jubilee Place, London. At the business and shopping district, visitors can view and interact with some of new upcoming models from major manufacturers.
It is here where Jaguar will display the new range, including its fastest ever production car, the XKR-S, and the most efficient Jaguar yet, the XF 2.2. Also present will be the new range-topping XFR, as well as the full XK range.
The Jaguar XKR-S tops the new XK range for 2012. The sports car produces 550hp, allowing it to reach a top speed of 186mph. Furthermore, the XKR-S will accelerate from 0-60mph in just 4.2 seconds, achieving 0-100mph in just 8.6 seconds. These performance figures exceed those of any other Jaguar production car made so far.
The XKR-S coupe will be available to buy in the UK from this September, along with the new XK and XKR in convertible form. Prices for the XK range start at £65,000, rising to £97,000 for the XKR-S.
The Jaguar XF is now available with a 2.2 litre four cylinder diesel engine which delivers a fuel economy of 50mpg and a travel range in excess of 800 miles.
As well as an efficient new engine, the XF range has a new look with modified interior and exterior styling.
The new XF range will appear in UK showrooms in September with prices starting at £30,950 for the 2.2 litre diesel engine model. Then range-topping XFR will cost £65,350.
The Jaguar XJ will also be appearing at Motorexpo, showing off a new Rear Seat Comfor Pack to add an extra touch of luxury for rear-seat passengers.
The XJ is still available in showrooms, with prices starting from £55,515 for the 3.0 litre diesel standard wheelbase.
