Ford revises Kuga range
The Ford Kuga 4x4 is now available with new Duratorq powertrains, PowerShift gearbox and Individual trim options.
Two new powerplants will be available in the Ford Kuga, both of which are 2.0 litre Ford Duratorq TDCi diesel engines. The more potent of the two produces 160bhp and is joined by a 138bhp version.
Ford’s acclaimed PowerShift six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox is also made available with all-wheel-drive models.
Customers are given the option of all-wheel-drive or two-wheel-drive, though both offer reduced CO2 output of up to six per cent on the previous models. The two-wheel-drive Kuga fitted with the 138bhp engine produces 156g/km with both engines delivering 159g/km of CO2 when coupled with all-wheel-drive.
The 160bhp powertrain completes a 0-62mph sprint in 9.6 seconds – more than a second faster than the one it succeeds – and has a combined fuel consumption of 47.1mpg.
Accompanying these new engines is a new list of Individual trim options that includes: 19 inch alloy wheels; roof rails; privacy glass; high gloss black trim; and premium ebony leather, scuff plates and floor mats with Individual logo.
The updated Ford Kuga range is available from August and will start at £20,495.
