Ford reveals Le Mans Focus RS
Ford has unveiled five new Le Mans-inspired Focus RS models in celebration of the brand's motorsport heritage.
The production of the 300bhp hot hatch is soon coming to an end, however Ford is ensuring it doesn’t go out quietly with these new editions.
Each car pays homage to a classic Le Mans-competing Ford from the 20th century: the 1966 GT40 Mk II; the 1967 Mk IV; the 1967 GT40 Mk IIB; the GT40s of 1968 and 1969; and the Capri RS 2600 from 1972; have all been replicated.
Inside, each car boasts extensive use of leather, Recaro seats and a personalised numbered plaque on the dashboard.
All five cars will be showcased at the 2010 Le Mans Classic in July, were they will be driven by invited guests. Each car will then go on sale, though prices are yet to be revealed.
