Ford releases pricing for C-MAX, Grand C-MAX
Ford has revealed that the all-new C-MAX will be priced from £16,745, with the larger Grand C-MAX coming in at £18,745. Both will be released next month.
Both will be available in two trim levels only – Zetec and Titanium – and will debut advanced technologies available in the all-new 2011 Focus hatchback.
The new C-MAX is an evolution of its predecessor, catering for all of the changes the MPV market has seen since the release of the original seven years ago. Ford says the new five-seater is ‘sporty-but-spacious’ and will offer customers improved flexibility and better value for money.
The new seven-seat Grand C-MAX offers even more family friendly flexibility with twin sliding doors, versatile seating and improved engine efficiency – all for just £250 premium over the outgoing model.
Both cars feature the same standard kit, which includes alloy wheels, air conditioning and leather steering wheel and utilise the same line-up of engines: 1.6-litre EcoBoost (available in 123/147bhp variants); 1.6 TDCi (also available in two power variants); and a 2.0 TDCi version.
While the latter can be specified with Ford’s PowerShift automatic gearbox, all are mated to a new six-speed manual transmission as standard.
