Ford makes Nectar points offer
Ford is offering its customers an opportunity to increase their Nectar points balance significantly this August, with a double-points offer on MOTs, servicing and non-warranty repairs at participating Ford dealerships.
Between the start and end of this month, Ford customers will be able to collect four points for every £1 spent on servicing, non-warranty repairs and MOTs. The automaker is also offering 12 months roadside assistance with for all cars serviced during August in the UK and Europe.
The service with Homestart package is applicable to Ford cars registered for less than nine years and with under 100,000 miles covered.
Nectar points collected by registered users during purchases in stores and online allow purchase on certain items or tickets as treats.
Ford, which is the official motoring partner of Nectar, made a double-points offer to its customers back in February this year, when 42 million points were given to customers.
In 2010 Ford gave over 180 million Nectar points to customers, which were used for a variety of goods and rewards, such as groceries and holidays. With the summer well underway and many families beginning to take holidays, Ford sees it as a good time to once again launch a double Nectar points offer.
Ford’s UK customer service director, Andy Barratt, said: ‘Summer vacations are a popular time for driving, so now is the perfect time for our customers to earn extra points while they get a holiday check-up for their car’.
Ford offers a long range of family cars such as the latest version of the Focus, which was launched back in March this year. The car, available as a hatchback or estate, is currently priced from £16,000.
