Ford announces special edition Focus Sport
Ford has released a special edition Focus Sport for 60-plate buyers before the range is revamped in spring 2011.
Available in the five-door body style with a choice of the two most popular engines – 1.6-litre 97bhp petrol, 1.6-litre 106bhp TDCi - the new Ford Focus Sport is available in six exterior body colours, including the popular Vision Blue.
The special edition comes with a £700 premium over the Zetec, but boasts £1,500 worth of extra kit including satellite navigation, Bluetooth and USB technology, voice control, parking sensors, 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlamps and self-dimming rear-view mirror.
“This is a vehicle that should appeal to our retail and fleet customers alike, and will continue to be offered alongside the all-new Focus through 2011," commented Ford of Britain product manager, David Calder.
On-the-road prices for the special edition Ford Focus Sport are £16,545 for the 1.6-litre petrol and £17,845 for the 1.6-litre TDCi.
