Fiat Group Automobiles has confirmed its partnership with the All England Netball Association, further strengthening its presence in the world of high-profile sports.

This tie-in follows recent partnerships for the Italian car manufacturer with British Cycling and Aston Villa Football Club and means that it will be the title sponsor of this month’s Fiat Netball Series, which culminates with a match at the O2 Arena, London.

Fiat will also be the title sponsor of the Fiat Netball Superleague - the highest-level UK league - as a result, which will attract further valuable media and TV coverage for the brand.

Finance and business development director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK and Ireland, Paolo Lo Monaco, believes the partnership presents a ‘huge potential customer database’, commenting:

“Netball is a female-dominated sport which crosses a wide variety of age groups, so we think much of the Fiat range will fit perfectly with the sport’s fans, such as the Fiat 500 and Panda."

A spokesperson for the All England Netball Association added: “The alliance will benefit netballers and fans across the UK with valuable support and the opportunity to take advantage of offers made available by this global automotive brand."
