Fiat 500C by Gucci arrives in UK
The Fiat 500 city car is once again teaming up with fashion designer Gucci to create another special edition car, the Fiat 500C by Gucci.
Following the success of the Fiat 500 by Gucci, which gained 3,000 pre-orders across the world, Fiat has decided to remove the top for a cabriolet version.
In its place is a black soft-top complete with Gucci green-red-green stripe and, like the 500 by Gucci before it, black and white body colours are available. Both are adorned with glitter and chrome highlights along with Gucci signature on the door pillars.
Other highlights include unique 16" alloy wheels with double G logo hubcaps and an interior that includes Gucci-themed upholstery, stitching and even seat belts to create a high-quality cabin area.
Materials include leather seats, velvet-effect finish on the radio panel and polished chrome highlights.
The Fiat 500C by Gucci will go on sale in the UK for £17,800 but despite it being a special edition, Fiat has not placed a limit on the number to be sold.
While the emphasis is on fashion and style for the compact drop-top, Fiat will include a high level of specification. This includes the Blue&Me entertainment and communication system and rear parking sensors.
All models also get automatic climate control and steering wheel controls for the sound system, which includes a radio, CD player and MP3 connectivity.
The Fiat 500C by Gucci will be sold in selected Fiat dealerships in the UK and online from this month, where it will join other fashion-inspired city car special editions such as the Fiat 500 by Diesel.
