Fiat 500 Thousandth to be 'collective car'
Fiat will launch a unique show edition of the Fiat 500 supermini featuring the faces of 1500 celebrities and members of the public.
The special edition version of the city car will be produced to celebrate half a million cars rolling off the production line in just 31 months.
The showcar - called the Fiat 500 Thousandth – will be displayed at events and international motor shows.
Fiat 500 customers and fans are being asked to book a place on the car from 3 May by visiting the Fiat website and submitting a photograph.
There will also be the opportunity to write a small message describing their relationship with the Fiat 500 or post a link to blogs, Facebook or other social media.
The car, labelled by Fiat as the first ‘collective car’ ever made, will be produced at the end of May ready for its tour of events.
