Citroen Ecomedy Tour a success
The Citroen DS3 successfully completed the Ecomedy Tour last week, when it arrived at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with over a third of a tank of fuel to spare.
The task of driving 530 miles on one tank of fuel was given to Ecomedians Dan Adams and Christian Ancliff to put the DS3s fuel-saving credentials to the test and to raise money for Helen & Douglas House Hospice.
The Ecomedians drove from London to Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Manchester and Glasgow in five days – stopping off and performing at each city. All this before the pair embarked on their first ever Fringe Festival show run in Edinburgh.
The particular Citroen DS3 used for the Ecomedy Tour – the 99g model - emits just 99g/km of CO2 and boasts a combined fuel economy of over 74mpg.
Dan Adams commented: “The DS3 still had about 200 miles left in the tank! Now we’re here in Edinburgh starting our Fringe show, we couldn’t be happier."
The Citroen DS3 is priced from £11,700.
