About the Vauxhall Antara
The Vauxhall Antara is a five-door SUV introduced in 2007 to the UK.
Vauxhall had not had an off-roader on the market since the Frontera was discontinued in 1998, but with the SUV market growing rapidly, the UK-based manufacturer launched the Antara.
Sharing the same platform as the Chevrolet Captiva, the Antara’s muscular bumpers and commanding driving position ensure the 4x4 looks the part as a tough SUV.
Off-road favourites such as 17"alloy wheels and roof bars are fitted as standard in the Antara.
The rear seats can be folded, extending the initial 370 litre boot capacity when needed.
One engine is available, a 2.0 CDTi diesel unit, although there is a choice of automatic five-speed or manual transmission. Two trim levels, SE or the more extensive Exclusiv are offered.
Prices for Vauxhall Antara models range from £22,595 for the 2.0 CDTi Exclusiv 5dr to £27,495 for the 2.0 CDTi SE 5dr Auto.
