About the Renault Scenic
The Renault Scenic is widely regarded as the first compact MPV produced in Europe, spawning a new segment in the market. The original version won European Car of the Year when it was launched in 1996.
In 2003, a second generation was introduced, followed by a third in 2009. The third generation boasts an increased load capacity of ten per cent on the outgoing models.
Based on the chassis of the Renault Megane, the Renault Scenic is available as a five-seat Scenic or seven-seat Grand Scenic.
The Renault Grand Scenic has a longer wheelbase and rear overhang. The two extra child-sized seats fit into the enlarged luggage area.
The back sliding bench of the Scenic can be folded to increase load space from 437 to 1,837-litres.
The Renault Scenic is available in Extreme, Expression, I-Music Special Edition, Dynamique TomTom, Privilege TomTom specifications.
There are three petrol engines and five diesels, with outputs ranging from 85bhp to 158bhp.
