About the Renault Modus
The Renault Modus is a mini MPV built to feel like a small city car. Introduced in 2004, the Modus is slightly larger and roomier than a Renault Clio. A larger, Renault Grand Modus is also available.
The Renault Modus measures 3.87cm in length and incorporates a split opening rear hatch for easy loading in small city car parks. There an optional bicycle rack capable of carrying two adult bikes available.
Inside, the Renault Modus has a sliding rear bench. The five-seat interior can be converted to four, offering more space for passengers.
The car received five stars in the Euro NCAP passenger safety test, making it the first small car to achieve the top rating.
There is a choice of three petrol engines - a 74bhp 1.2-litre, a turbocharged 99bhp 1.2-litre or a 110bhp 1.6-litre with an automatic gearbox.
The Renault Modus is available in Expression, I-Music or range-topping Dynamique trims.
Prices for Renault Modus models range from £10,913 for the 1.2 Expression 5dr to £14,031 for the 1.5 dCi 86 Dynamique 5dr QS5.
