About the Peugeot 5008
The Peugeot 5008 is the French manufacturer’s first foray into the compact MPV market. It has been a successful one, with the 5008 winning What Car? ‘Best MPV of the Year’ in 2010.
The seven-seat, five-door 5008 is larger than the 3008, standing at 1.64m tall and 4.53m wide. The total luggage capacity with the seats down is 2,506 litres.
The second row of seats features three individual reclining seats. They also slide and can be folded flat for more load space. The back row of seats and passenger seat can also be folded flat.
Active, Sport and Exclusive trim levels are available on the 5008, with 16" alloys, Multiflex interior, Automatic Electric Parking Brake and ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) as standard on the base specification.
The 5008 MPV is a choice of five engines. The 1.6-litre petrol engines are available with 120bhp or 156bhp.
A 110bhp 1.6-litre HDi is the entry level diesel, and there is the further option of a 150bhp or 163bhp 2.0-litre HDi.
Prices for Peugeot 5008 models range from £17,345 for the 1.6-litre Active 5dr to £24,145 for the 2.0-litre HDi 163 Exclusive 5dr Auto.
