About the Peugeot 308

The Peugeot 308 was released in 2007. Although not officially a replacement for the outgoing 307, the 308 is based upon the older model.
However, the 308 features new bodywork and newly designed interior, and is longer and wider than the 307. The small family car is competing in the C-segment market with other hatchbacks such as the Ford Focus and Vauxhall Astra.
Shortly after the three-door hatchback was released, a two-door coupe-cabriolet was unveiled as well as a station wagon version of the 308.
The car has a top level five star safety rating from Euro NCAP tests.
The five-door hatchback and coupe-cabriolet models are available in GT trim level.
The three-door 1.6-litre HDi 90bhp diesel returns a range-best 62mpg thanks to specially developed Michelin Energy Saver tyres which save fuel by reducing rolling friction by 20 percent.
