About the Chevrolet Ford Ka
The Ford Ka, currently in its second generation, is Ford’s enduringly popular city car.
Based on the Fiat 500, the Ford Ka borrows the 1.3-litre diesel engine and 1.2-litre 69bhp petrol from the Italian manufacturer.
Although it is the same length as the old model, the current Ka has a higher roof, and increased boot space of 224 litres. The Ka, as with most new Ford cars, features ‘kinetic styling’
The second-generation model comes with lower insurance costs than outgoing models, with the standard model falling in 1E. With low CO2 emissions of 119g/km, road tax is just £35 per year.
Trim levels will include Studio, Style, Style + and Zetec, while options include the Bluetooth-enabled Connectivity Kit, providing Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity, a USB port to play music files through the sound system and steering wheel controls.
Heated windscreen and heated seats are additional options.
