The evergreen Ford Focus small family hatchback is currently in its second generation, with a third on its way in 2011.
The Focus is Britain’s best-selling car, and there are over 1,300,000 new and used Ford Focus models on Britain’s roads today.
The Focus received a facelift in 2008 with a restyled front end and redesigned interior.
Other models in the range include the Ford Focus CC, a coupe-cabriolet with a folding top, the discontinued Focus Estate, the Ford Focus RS hot hatch and the Ford Focus ST.
The petrol engines range from a 1.4 to 2.0-litre options. There are three diesel units - a 1.6-litre, 1.8-litre and a 2.0 litre. The diesels engines emit just 120g/km of CO2 since the facelift in 2008.
There is an ECOnetic version of the Ford Focus, which averages 70mpg and boasts emissions of 104g/km.
A new version featuring an Auto-Start-Stop has cut CO2 emissions to 99g/km and increased fuel economy to 74mpg.
