During World War I André Citroën built munitions for France and after the war he had a factory but no products to make. In 1919 The business started to produce automobiles, starting with the conventional Type A. It was designed by Jules Salomon.

In 2009, Citroen presented its new instruments and fresh services that show its leadership in automotive data communications, with the full-scale rollout of its ECS (Emergency Call Service), which started in 2003, Citroën has built and improved the system's technological architecture. Citroën is now using this architecture to engage an aspiring telematics scheme with the introduction of new services designed to ensure more economical and cleaner mobility in all Citroen new cars.

New Citroen DS3 sticks out in the crowd with its prominent face and super sexy LED running lights integrated with the characteristic double chevron on the bonnet and a deep grill. The flaring wheel arches and chrome slash in the door complete the ultra modern look. A colourful Fuchsia Pink roof colour is available with matching pink door mirrors, wheel centre caps, dashboard fascia and gear lever knob, for the ladies. Customers also have the choice of a striking new Hickory Brown pearlescent body colour and two additional 'Spirit' roof designs in the form of 'Flower' and 'Flavio'. Standard features include Cruise Control, CD player, Remote Locking, Electric Front Windows, Electric Mirrors and Leather Steering Wheel.

The new Citroen C1 was given a facelift at the same time as the Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107, in January 2009. In-keeping with Citroen's family appearance The features of the New C1 include a new front bumper integrating a new grille. Trim levels were also reinvigorated - basic Vibe models became 'VT', and Rhythm became 'VTR'. Seat fabrics and ventilation controls were also changed, and all models received colour-coded front bumpers and new wheel trims. 'Splash' was a special-edition available at launch, however this was a strictly limited edition. It was available in Electra Blue or Lipizan White and featured Air Conditioning. The white car came with glossy black door mirrors, the blue car came with white door mirrors. The 1.4 HDi diesel engine remains unchanged, and is only available in the higher specification.

The Citroen C3 was given a minor redesign back in 2006, with the front end attributing a more impressive bumper, wider lower air intake, single air intake slit below the restyled radiator grille as well as a re-positioned number plate. The light clusters at the rear of the car where also given a re-design, with crystal coloured mid-sections. The passenger compartment was improved with the fitting of a restyled dashboard with a high-quality finish, as well as a more modern instrument cluster making the driver data easier to read. The steering was also built so that it weights up with speed. Citroën added a new 1.6L 16-valve HDi diesel engine to the range, rated at 110 bhp (82 kW; 110 PS). Included in some versions of the C3 is a start-stop system that can automatically cut the engine when not needed to save fuel, such as in traffic, and restart it to move on again.

The design of the Citroen C4 Picasso is built with excellence as standard. A bold and distinctive personality is created by the dynamic shape and solid build. Leaping to onlookers' immediate attention is the large quarter lights and a super wide angle windscreen. A dipping roof line, rear spoiler and a wave-shaped window line along the sides create an amazing and unique aerodynamic profile that is as practical, as it is stunning. Uncover the philosophy and quality of the 5-seat Citroen C4 Picasso and the reserved self-indulgence of the 7-seat Citroen Grand C4 Picasso. Set your senses free.
