The latest Ford C-Max offering
The five-seat C-Max and seven-seat Grand C-Max were officially unveiled at the geneva motorshow
The two model range, consisting of the five-seat Ford C-Max and seven-seat Ford Grand C-Max, was officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Both models of the MPV feature twin sliding doors and the seats can be folded to increase space inside. The C-Max boasts a coupe-style sweeping roofline, while the Grand C-Max has a higher roofline in keeping with its larger dimensions.
Although Ford has not released any figures for the 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6 and 2.0-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engines, it claims they will be ‘fuel-efficient, low-CO2 powertrains.’
Touted as Ford’s flagship model in the MPV segment, the interior of the C-Max will house the manufacturer’s human interface (HMI) system consisting of two five-way toggle switches on the steering wheel controlling two vehicle displays.
Hot on the heels of the all-new C-Max, Ford has promised an updated Ford Kuga and a facelift for the Ford Mondeo within the next year. Also on the agenda for the manufacturer is a next generation Ford Focus, expected to arrive shortly after the C-Max.
