Seat Ibiza chosen for leaner drivers
The five-door Seat Ibiza has beaten rivals to become the WhatCar? Driving School’s car of choice.
What Car? Will take delivery of 250 Seat Ibiza cars after describing the popular supermini as having ‘reliability, quality, safety and economy’.
Andy Mitchell from What Car?, added: “We also wanted to factor in our instructors’ and learners’ requirements for style and ‘kerbside appeal’ and that, crucially, is where the SEAT Ibiza stands out."
The Seat Ibiza will now be used at franchised instructors across the UK as Seat continues to expand its commercial presence, just weeks after agreeing a deal to supply 500 cars to British Gas engineers.
Seat UK’s National Fleet Sales Manager Sally Livingstone called the deal a ‘coup’ for the Spanish brand, which has seen March sales increase by 28 per cent compared to last year.
She said: “I’m sure the school’s network of instructors, and their pupils, will be delighted with their Ibiza experience and I look forward to seeing these distinctive cars appearing across the country."
