Renault Twingo gets the Gordini treatment
Renault has unveiled the latest addition to its retro Gordini range, the Twingo Gordini, which replaces the outgoing GT variant.
The Twingo joins the Clio in the current Gordini line-up; a range the French company is pitching to the younger, feminine market.
In keeping with Gordini moniker, the Renault Twingo Gordini sports twin white racing stripes and is finished in Metallica Blue, though Pearlescent Black and Glacier White exterior finishes are also available.
The Gordini package also includes 15-inch diamond-effect alloy wheels, new sports seats, aluminium pedal pads and blue leather upholstery.
Customers can choose between one petrol and diesel unit, both of which are compliant with Euro 5 emissions regulations. The dCi 85 diesel is the lowest-emitting engine, outputting 100g/km of CO2, whereas the TCe 100 petrol emits a commendable 132g/km.
A pricing strategy for the UK is imminent, but the Renault Twingo Gordini is expected to come in at around £13,000.
