Range Rover Evoque to cost under £30k
Land Rover has this week announced the UK price range for its latest model, the Range Rover Evoque.
For the first time, Land Rover’s Range Rover luxury brand will be priced under £30,000 and will be the smallest, lightest and greenest model ever made by the British-based company.
Pricing starts from £27,955 for the eD4 Pure five-door six speed manual 2WD specification, while the 4WD equivalent is £28,705.
The top of the range model, the Si4 6 Speed automatic Dynamic coupe with LUX pack, will cost £44,320. The Range Rover Evoque will go on sale from September this year but certain specifications will be launched in 2012.
The luxury SUV is available as either a five-door or three-door coupe, and comes with a list of diesel and petrol engines to choose from.
The engines include an updated 2.2 litre turbodiesel with 150PS or a 190PS derivative, the 150PS unit is estimated to achieve an emission rate of 130g/km CO2.
Also available is a new 2.0 litre Si4 petrol engine, which combines direct fuel injection, turbocharging and efficiency and will reach 0-60mph in an estimated 7.1 seconds.
Customers wishing to buy the Evoque are able to choose from three distinct design themes, called Pure, Prestige and Dynamic, with many features as standard. Land Rover is offering a lot of personal customisation to tailor the Evoque to drivers’ tastes.
Choices are available in exterior colours, roof treatments, alloy wheels, interior colours and a full sized fixed panoramic glass roof. Potential buyers can customer the Evoque to their requirements in a new online configurator which has gone live.
