New Ford Mondeo gets autumn release
Ford has revealed that the newly-revised Mondeo will make its debut in August at the Moscow Motor Show.
The Ford EcoBoost engine will be an option in the new Mondeo, available in a 200bhp version or a new 245bhp version, and both boast the same CO2 emissions of just 179g/km.
The 2.2 litre Ford Duratorq engine will be available for the first time and will bring nearly 200bhp to the line-up. It retains its efficiency however, emitting 139g/km of CO2.
It is joined by a 2.0 litre Duratorq powertrain available in 113, 138 and 160bhp power ratings – all of which boast emissions of 139g/km also.
Complimenting the Mondeo’s kinetic design are a new front bumper with LED lights, new grilles, redesigned rear lights and an enhanced bonnet profile.
Ford has also updated the interior with new trim materials, centre control design and a central overhead console with ambient lighting. The inclusion of satellite navigation, Premium Sound System and LED lighting provide added luxury.
The revised Ford Mondeo will be on sale in the UK in October.
