New Chevrolet Spark
Chevrolet release the new Chevrolet Spark as part of a continued range update.
Chevrolet has continued to update the range ahead of its centenary in 2011 with the release of the Chevrolet Spark.
The five-door city car replaces the Chevrolet Matiz in the American manufacturer’s line-up.
Designed specifically for city driving in the European market, the Spark’s length or 3.64 metres and width of 1.6 metres make squeezing into smaller parking spaces easy and stress-free.
Boasting a muscular, aggressive exterior and unique motorcycle styled pod instrument pod inside, the Chevrolet Spark aims to bridge the gap between city car and supermini.
Three trim levels and two petrol engines are available for the Spark, and it also offers the chance to customise its appearance with personalised graphics, or ‘Tags’.
An entry-level 1.0 litre Chevrolet Spark costs £6,945 on-the-road and the city car falls in the lowest insurance band possible. On top of this, both engines deliver CO2 emissions of 119g/km, meaning road tax of just £35 a year.
