Ford Galaxy receives facelift
The Ford Galaxy MPV has received a styling update for 2010.
The seven-seat Ford Galaxy MPV is now available with either Ford’s 2.0-litre 203PS EcoBoost turbocharged direct injection petrol engine or the 2.0-litre Duratorq 115PS, 140PS and 163PS turbodiesel units.
The 2.0-litre 203PS engine emits 189g/km and returns combined fuel economy of 34.8mpg.
Like the slightly smaller seven-seat Ford S-Max, the Galaxy has been given a facelift including a new grille, new-look LED tail lights, fog lights and roof rails.
The Ford Galaxy, although not given as radical a facelift as the S-Max, features a new sculptured bonnet and tailgate. Higher specification models (Titanium and Titanium X) get chrome bars in the upper grille.
Earlier versions of the Ford Galaxy have won Best MPV for four consecutive years, and Ford expects the new 2010 Ford Galaxy to impress once again.
The new Galaxy MPV features Ford’s new ‘kinetic design’ as well as the Blind Spot Information System for extra safety on the road.
The refreshed Ford Galaxy will go on sale in the UK in spring 2010, with prices yet to be announced.
