Citroen C3 excels at MPG Marathon
Citroen’s C3 finished third in its respective sub-120g/km class in the 2010 MPG Marathon last week, as well as in the competition overall.
Driven by Victor Harman, with co-driver James Stiff, the Citroen C3 Airdream+ 1.6HDi 90hp achieved 86.67mpg – 16.54 per cent more than its official combined cycle fuel consumption figure - while emitting just 99g/km of CO2.
This was enough for the popular supermini to finish third in its class and third in the competition overall.
Charles Peugeot, Citroen UK’s Sales Director lauded the MPG Marathon, calling it a ‘fantastic test of a vehicles fuel efficiency.’

Priced at £14,790, the Citroen Airdream+ not only boasts green technology but is fitted with Bluetooth, USB outlet and rear parking sensors, as well as all of the comfort, convenience and safety features of the VTR+ model.
