The Citroen DS3 is going on an ‘Ecomedy’ tour next month to put the fuel-saving credentials of the DStyle 99g to the test.

Comedians Dan Adams and Christian Ancliff will be driving the DS3 from London to Edinburgh on one tank of fuel between 1 and 6 August in aid of the Oxford-based hospice, Helen and Douglas House. That’s 500 miles on one tank of fuel.

The comedians will perform on each night of the tour, first in London, then Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Manchester and Glasgow before reaching Edinburgh to partake in the Fringe festival for the first time.

The DS3 DStyle 99g is powered by Citroen’s 1.6HDi 90bhp engine and emits just 99g/km of CO2. It also boasts a combined fuel economy of over 74mpg.

Marc Raven, Citroen’s Communications Director, said: “We’re excited to see how out DS3 99g performs across such a great distance. It’s a unique and very exciting project to be involved in, and for a very worthwhile cause."

The Citroen DS3 is priced from £11,700.
