Alfa Mito best in class at What Car? awards
Alfa Romeo’s Mito has been awarded the Best Supermini accolade at the What Car? Reader Awards 2010.
The Alfa Mito managed an average star reader rating of 4.6 out of five, which was enough to not only come away with the coveted Best Supermini title, but to place it third in the Best Car segment ahead of 167 competitors.
The What Car? Reader Awards is the only annual car awards voted for solely by the reader, who Alfa believes are its most important critics.
Brand Communications Manager of Alfa Romeo UK, Damien Dally, describes receiving the award is ‘fantastic’.
“It truly affirms Mito’s place as a strong, viable and credible option for people looking for a sporty yet practical compact car," he added.
The Mito comes in four trim levels – Junior, Turismo, Lusso and Veloce – with even base models benefiting from air conditioning, MP3-compatible CD player, seven airbags and electric windows.
The supermini was also awarded a maximum five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
The Alfa Romeo Mito is available now from £9,642.
