About the Alfa Romeo GT
The Alfa Romeo GT was originally introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2003 and went on sale in the UK in 2004. The coupe is taken from the same platform as the outgoing 156 saloon.
The classical Italian design for the sports coupe has won the GT a number of awards, including the Design Trophy award from French automotive publication, L’Automobile.
Only available in front-wheel drive format, the three-door GT offers a number of engines including 1.9JTD turbodiesel and 2.0-litre JTS direct injection petrol engines and the powerful 3.2-litre V6 featured in the Spider and Brera models. A 1.8 Twin Spark version completes the range.
Top speeds range from 130mph for the 2.0 JTS to 155mph for the 3.2 V6. The best fuel consumption can be found with the 1.9JTD at 42.2mpg.
